Trust The Contrast
Yes, it would indeed be wonderful if life were permanently rosy, beautiful and peaceful, wouldn’t it? It would be perfection indeed if things always went the way you wanted and desired, if you instantaneously got what you wanted, if you everlastingly floated on fluffy white clouds upon a blue sky… Right?
Yet, think about it for but a moment: if all were indeed exactly as you wanted, all of the time, how then would you be able to differentiate what it is that you like, from that which you dislike / like to a lesser extent?
You wouldn’t know the difference, would you? And in not having the contrasting experiences of that which you dislike, you also then wouldn’t fully be able to explore, appreciate and embrace the joy in the experiences of that which you do desire… Correct?
The less desired / undesirable parts of your life don’t have to be all doom and gloom, dear one. Those situations and experiences are there to point you onward, inward and upward toward what it is that you actually do desire.
Once you learn to use your every less-than-desirable instance to your benefit, by identifying from it that which your heart and spirit calls you to, you know you’re well on your way to living your best life.
There’s but a reason and a purpose to all under the sun – and in the midst of every seeming thunderstorm too.
Trust the contrast, dear one. Trust your self. Be in joy and in peace always. All is working out, always.
