Set Your Default to ‘Happy’

Remember that regardless of what may be going on in your life, you always have the freedom and power to actively choose how you feel.

Grow and train yourself into a habit of feeling peace, contentment and happiness. This will ensure that even and especially in tougher, trying times, it will be easy and automatic for you to gravitate toward happiness.

Sometimes when you experience equilibrium in your feelings, you may find it easier to move toward less-than-affirming emotions such as worry or anxiety. A reason for this is that you crave feeling something.

Have you considered, however, why it may be more effortless for you to sway toward a feeling of emptiness rather than fulfillment, or a feeling of anxiousness rather than trust, for instance?

Yes, it’s simply an outcome of the way you’ve trained your mind.

Know that it’s just as simple for you to re-train your mind, to suite and serve your own purposes and intentions.

Given a choice – and it indeed is given –choose affirming feelings of wellbeing, vitality, peace, trust, freedom, joy… Make it your go-to response and behavior.

Identify that which you desire / which you hope to achieve. Align your thoughts, feelings and attention to having that / those thing(s). Allow all things that do not match the state you desire to drift past your awareness. Focus on the joy and fulfilment of accomplishing the outcomes you desire. You, being naturally one with the Universal Creator, are the primary creator in your life.

  • Plant Your Intention:

Your intention is your purpose, your seed, your starting-point, the core of your desire.

Craft your intention. Personalize it. Be sure that it’s what you really want and that it’s what will serve your best overall interests.

Most significantly, allow and encourage yourself to feel the fulfilment, the happiness, the joy, the exhilaration, the peace and the comfort of having your intention / purpose achieved, even while it’s still germinating.

  • Nurture Your Attention:

Nourish your intention and purpose with all of the care and love it needs to flourish, blossom, bloom and thrive.

A plant requires adequate water, sunlight and fertile soil to grow healthily and beautifully. Feed your awareness, your mind, your body and your emotions only with those things that progress your outcome.

  • Prune Your Focus:

Ignore / eliminate those things (thoughts, feelings, doubts, judgements, perceptions) that don’t positively contribute toward the achievement of your outcome. Snip away distractions that may move you out of alignment with your purpose.

Act with your energy and your attention directed and focused on trust, faith and belief in the fulfilment of your desire and the achievement of your purpose.

  • Harvest Your Outcome:

Having aligned your thoughts, feelings, awareness, focus and actions with your desired purpose and intent, relax into welcoming wondrous creations into your life. You’re a powerful creator in your life.
