Am I looking for marriage? Nope.

Am I looking for authentic connection? Yip, definitely!

What happens if I don’t find authentic connection with a man? I still win! I continue happily, blessedly walking my path with God as my Life-Partner, as I’ve always done…

(Do I think that God has authentic Divine connection with a man, in store for me? Yes, for sure!😉)

Let the basis be true connection, first and foremost, and then let marriage follow, if so be it. Then too, let it be rather a “celebration and declaration of the Sacred Union of togetherness, based upon freedom and mutual evolution”, rather than a “contract of stagnant obligations”.

A relationship-basis on a primary want/need for the ‘idea’ of “marriage”, as opposed to a genuine sacred spiritual foundation of heart-mind-body-soul-connection, just isn’t a turn-on for me 💕🌀💚

So yeah, things are what they are. That much is true. Not much can be done to change anything. … Is this also true? Naah… Things may indeed be as they are in the current moment, yet you always have a choice to influence the direction and outcome from its current point, forward – don’t you think?

It Is What It Is:

What it is now is merely a culmination of past thoughts, words, actions, behaviors… All which is currently behind you has led up to this moment in time in your life’s reality. Your situation and experience in this moment of time is precisely what it is – yet, it’s still but a moment in time; and but a moment in the entirety of your life.

Your future lies ahead of you, eagerly anticipating you and your joy. What you choose to do with your now moment, sets the scene for that which unfolds before you.

Choosing to Influence the Highest Direction and Outcome:

At any given time, and within any situation or experience of it being what it is, you hold a magnificent power of choice.

Are you going to plainly accept a less-than-great situation for what it appears to be?

Or shall you influence it for the highest good of yourself and for the highest good of all? “How?”, you ask? By simply choosing to courageously rise from, for instance, a state of despondency, despair and complacency to a happier state of faith, trust, gratitude, peace and contentment.

• Voices of Others’ and External Happenings:

Getting caught-up in the chatter and the voices of others’ may be all too easy. This could be a great thing when such voices are in harmony with your own internal voice of wisdom.

Be aware of, and continually actively assess, whether the voices you allow yourself to tune in to are in alignment with your highest good and the outcome(s) you wish to achieve.

Does going with the flow of gloominess, especially during periods of transition or change, for instance, serve your wellbeing in any way? The opinions, judgements and criticisms of others’ will always be there.

You have within you the facility of discernment and reasoning. Choose to embrace, value and exercise it for obtaining the most wholesome harvests in your life!

Yes, your internal voice may sometimes seem quieter than the external loud vocalizations of those around you. Yet your internal voice of wisdom is perhaps one of your greatest and most powerful gifts and connections to Source.

It knows you. It’s been with you throughout your life and through all of your life-experiences. It’s gotten you through some pretty trying circumstances and situations.

Trust your internal voice of wisdom and encouragement. Make it one of the primary guiding authorities in your life.

That gentle voice which comes to you in your quietest calmest moments is your thoughts of trust, faith and sunshine. It is the foundational key by which you may deliberately guide and steer your results.

Take your decisions, and establish your priorities and focus from it. The potential for change as you would like it is within you at each and every moment.

At your core, you’re free. The essence of who you are is a spirit of joy and freedom. So, freedom is already a part of you, just like joy is. There’s no need to strive for it, search for it, or work toward it. All you have to do is recognize its presence, allow it to be as significant a part of your life as you desire, and enjoy it.

• Freedom:

What are you truly? Are you your career, or your relationship-status? Perhaps a mum, a dad, a sibling, a manager, an employee, a sports(wo)man, a politician, a student, a leader, a man, a woman? Yes, you may be one or more of these; however, minus the labels you’re simply a human being.

In your pure human state, before the labels of what you do, how you’re defined, or what you’ve accumulated through your life, you’re simply a human being. A spirit with a body, doing your best to thrive in a human-conditioned experience.

And in your core immaculate human state, you’re a light free being of love and bliss. You may sometimes tend to think that just as you’ve had to acquire and accrue all in your life, that you also have to endeavor toward freedom or joy.

Yet the absolute glorious beauty is that freedom and joy are both already yours. It’s what was there at the very beginning; it’s what will always remain once all the layers of identity have been peeled away.

Your amazing power lies in being aware of, recognizing and embracing the constant eternal availability of this flexibility and liberty in your life. Bring it into your awareness, truly feel it, and live it in any situation and experience your desire. It’s simply your choice.

• Joy:

L your inherent internal eternal freedom in any situation or experience is integral to knowing that joy is yours.

Freedom of choice is yours. It is you who ultimately determines what you want to make of a situation. You choose how to respond and proceed from any given point.

Your feelings are actually within your control. They arise with your thoughts. Steer and guide your thoughts in a favorable direction in any situation, and you simultaneously successfully shift your emotions.

Your natural state is joy, so you don’t have to chase after it. It’s already with you, within you.

Let go of the worry, the doubt, the anxiety – you will find that all that remains is peace, calm, love and happiness. Flow with its beauty, dance with its energy, laugh with its frivolity – for as long as you fancy.

Gifts in Rejection

The feelings arising from being refused, unaccepted, dismissed or even simply unacknowledged usually make us feel imperfect, unworthy and small. It may even trigger feelings of abandonment. Yet, there are many a gift and blessing to be found in rejection, a few of which include: freedom; self-acceptance; and trusting the flow of life.

Freedom:

In any relationship situation, whether personal or professional, your acceptance or not is usually dependent upon the judgements and perceptions of another human being toward you. I say ‘human being’ ‘cos we often tend to place the value of the person doing the rejecting at a higher level than we value ourselves. Yet yes, he / she too is human.

Equally so, every person / organization has preferences and needs. These are most probably based on their own past experiences, as well as on their current desires and needs. Should you not fit into their plans, accept it with contentment for what it is; in the knowledge and trust that both you and the other party will find a match.

After all, you want to be wanted, needed, valued and loved for all that ‘you’ are, right? If you’re not that fit for somebody, allow them to move on to their fit. Your own fit definitely exists and is more wonderful than you currently imagine. He / she / they will love, accept, value and adore you (mostly) for all that you are, as you are – and you will know it and feel it.

In the interim, embrace the glorious feelings of lightness and abandonment which can blossom and bloom from rejection. A definite positive is that you now know where you stand. Bid farewell to simmering in uncertainty or to waiting on the approval of another.

Focus. On yourself. Create your own path. You may choose to change something learned from your experience, or you may simply move forward with accepting yourself wholly and fully for all of the Spirit-created wonder which you are. The choice and decision is completely yours – to move forward in freedom from this point onward.

Self-Acceptance:

Your rejection by someone is not a reflection of your value or your worth. Neither is it a reflection of your lovability.

Nothing external (mistakes made, shortcomings, foibles) changes the being that you are. Everyone is on a learning path. It’s a continual process of growth and evolution. And regardless of how ‘perfect’ another may seem to be, know that he / she is no more ‘perfect’ than you yourself are. Just as you don’t know their full story, so too, they don’t know your full story.

You’re the writer of your own story. Take the lead, be the lead and script your story your way. Generously include all of the awesomeness and magnificence which is already you!

You’re lovable. You’re so very valuable. Perfectly as you are. Yes, in all of your imperfections and humanness. It’s up to ‘you’ to accept you: in your heart, in your mind, at your core.

Embrace yourself; in joy, in confidence, in love. Shine.

Trusting the Flow:

When rejected, trust that it’s okay. And that it’s most possibly even a part of the Greater Plan for your life, which you cannot clearly see at this moment in time.

Life is about change, this too shall pass.

Hold on to the best in yourself; let all else go.

Flow with the current of the river, allow it to guide and carry you; battle not against it. Surely, in its Greater Natural Wisdom, it will carry you to a space and to a place which is optimally peaceful, happy and fulfilling for you.

When you glance back upon your life later down the line, trust that perfection is what you will see and feel 😌

What is happiness? Where does it come from? How do you get more of it, more of the time? It’s mostly a choice of an attitude and a perspective, while there are several things which you can do on a practical level to boost your happiness. By these 6 simple indulgent actions, you’ll be on your way: 1) Simplify; 2) Do an activity you enjoy; 3) Love your Body; 4) Stimulate your Mind; 5) Merge with Purpose; 6) Celebrate!

  1. Simplify:

Simplify your life by eliminating things and routines which no longer contribute toward your overall wellbeing. Sometimes we hold on to things, behaviors and familiar ways of being and doing simply ‘cos it’s what we know and it’s the way “it’s always been done”, even if it may not optimally serve our current purposes and lifestyle.

The more you de-clutter, the more energy and free-flow you will naturally experience in your life.

  1. Do an activity you enjoy:

Playing is wonderful for your heart, mind, body and spirit.

What this entails to you, how you do it, where or with whom is of no consequence – just make sure that you do it; and that you do it often!

Time is limited, true; you have serious responsibilities, also true. So if you must, schedule time(s) to engage in activities which you enjoy. The power of its renewal-factor upon your energy-levels and enthusiasm will most probably also override the procrastination-factor to engage in those activities you don’t enjoy as much.

Your natural state of life is flow and happiness. Therefore, why not spend as much, or (logically) more, time on activities that truly make your heart sing?

  1. Love your body:

Your body registers and responds superbly to your thoughts, emotions, the foods you nourish it with, the air-temperature and atmospheric pressure, amongst an array of other things.

The sights of your dearest ones or a glorious sunrise, the scent of raindrops freshly spattered upon the earth, the playful chirping of the birds in the trees, the tantalizing dance of flavors upon your tongue, the glorious feel of warm sunshine on your skin, the explosiveness of tender raw orgasm…

Intuitive healing of wounds and of disease, the creation of inflammation to protect your body from further injury, the production of pain to alert you of something not-so-right, the regeneration of cells…

These are but some of the innumerable gifts of your body to you. It works miraculously all on its own, without reminders from anyone and in perfect harmony and unison with what needs to be done moment to moment. It re-balances, heals and restores.

Keep your body happy by luxuriating it in a few simple things: care, nourishment, exercise, ample rest and relaxation. Pay heed to it too when it whispers to you (preferably so that it doesn’t have to reach a stage of having to scream at you to bring your attention to what’s going on).

Your body’s your greatest gift and anchor in this lifetime; guiding you always toward wholesome wellbeing and happiness. Love your body.

A supple and agile mind is the core of your happiness and wellbeing. Your experiences may sometimes be beyond your control; yet the perspectives you decide to choose about your experiences determine your path forward.

An engaged mind with a curiosity about the wonders of life will ensure that you’re always at your peak, regardless of what may come your way.

Remember also to sufficiently rest your mind though.

  1. Merge with Purpose:

There’s great joy to be found in engaging purposefully. Your sense of fulfilment will be proportionate to the meaning you attribute to your undertakings.

Happiness gained from purpose fulfilled is of a different quality to happiness gained from activities engaged in solely to quell boredom, to pass time, or to fulfil routine without exactly remembering ‘why’.

  1. Celebrate:

Things to be thankful for and appreciative of are many. Embrace them; celebrate them!

They don’t have to be mind-blowing super-successes, or even traditional occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries or the New Year. Neither do ‘celebrations’ have to be elaborate undertakings.

Honor the first rains of the season with a mug of hot-chocolate, celebrating the cozy comfort of your home, for instance.

It’s your awareness of the gifts present all around in your everyday life, coupled with your intention of purposeful gratitude, which will forever guide you toward more meaningful happy celebrations…

Wisdom in Letting Go

Do you long to live and thrive in happiness more often? What’s holding you back? Possibly some of the things which you have in your life, rather than things you don’t have? By assessing your current space and determining your ‘nice’-space / your optimal-space, you have the power to choose whether letting go will feed your happiness.

  • Assess your Current Space:

What sorts of thoughts, feelings, situations and experiences are you predominantly keeping for company these days?

Freedom, lightness, joy, living-in-the-moment? A passion for life? A sense of fulfilment, peace and calm? Love, trust, faith, inner quiet, knowingness and serenity? Are you primarily maintaining these thoughts, feelings and outlooks regardless of the circumstances, situations and experiences which come your way?

Or might you perhaps be leaning primarily toward anxiety, fear, anger, disappointment, sadness, doubt, envy, jealousy? Rejection? Hurt? Pain? Doubt? Uncertainty? Betrayal? Judgement? Worthlessness? Guilt?

Are you perhaps being weighed down by the burden of a secret? Insecurity? Loneliness? Tension? Stress? A need to be perfect? The approval of another? Responsibility that isn’t yours to bear? Being caged in preconceptions? Drama? A mistake made? The past? The future (in your ‘waiting’)?

Your status? Your position? Your title? Your salary?

Are you holding on to a gorgeous pair of shoes that pinch at your little-toe with every step you take? A luxurious coat which you haven’t worn in years ‘cos there hasn’t been a ‘special’ enough occasion to wear it to yet?

  • Determine your ‘Nice’-Space:

With contemplation and an enhanced awareness of the types of thoughts and feelings you predominantly experience, comes your power to choose what type of space you would actually like to be in.

Your thoughts may be random and may also often be based upon subconscious influences, true. Yet it is you who ultimately commands the power and free-will choice of what you hold on to and what you let go of on a conscious level.

By nature’s law, that which you choose to focus on is usually strengthened, while that which you diminish significance toward slackens its power to influence you.

What do you want to strengthen and grow in your life? Your happiness and your freedom? Perhaps your trust and your faith? Peace and calm? If so, that’s where you would do best focusing your attention.

Let the worry and anxiety go; ease up on the doubt (particularly on the self-doubt); and stay clear of the path of being swept up in, or contributing to, chaos and clutter.

  • Choose to Let Go:

Keep in mind that situations and circumstances can change in an instant by factors either within or beyond your control – both whether you choose to hold on to things or whether you choose to let go.

Yet now that you know what benefits your life positively and places you in a ‘nice’-space, it should be easier to let go of those things which don’t; or at least to loosen you attachment to, and the level of significance you attribute to, certain things.

Remember that you choose to hold onto something when it serves a purpose in your life. Only you can determine if the qualities of that purpose and the impact it has upon your life benefits you in the long-term on a human level.

By ‘human level’ I mean that sometimes when you don’t have much / are at rock-bottom, you realize how blessed you are with the simple things which you do have in life. If you lose your job which you placed much significance on, for instance, you come to realize that who you inherently are is not dependent upon the work you did, or upon what others thought of you in your position regardless of how much in others’ esteem you may have been held.

If an illness befalls you, or if you’re involved in an accident and lose a limb; you’re still the same person. Your capabilities may shift, yet your value and your lovability remains. And under such circumstances you may even develop abilities of previously-latent potentials.

Things change. Life changes. The superficial attributions of what society considers to be ‘valuable’ fluctuate from moment to moment, and may even be dependent on what is ‘fashionable’ at a specific time. Your genuine worth and value always remains.

The more often you choose to let go of / reduce the value of non-beneficial elements, the easier it is to do. Your thoughts, attitudes and behaviors sculpt neural pathways in your mind. When you repeat something often enough (for instance, a thought or an action), it becomes easier and easier for your mind to identify with and a pattern is developed. These dominant patterns become your go-to responses in situations.

Why not nurture your go-to-response to being that of letting-go of that which doesn’t impact your life to genuine happiness and joy 😌

Don’t wait on the ‘special’ moments; your every ‘now’ moment is a special moment; choose to make it so, and so will it be 😌
